Hi Bernd,

I am observing your progress. ObjB is the only reason I am staying with XCode 3 :!:

Some examples of the Xcode 3 version won't be available at first. I need more time to rewrite some parts, but the next week Objective-Basic for Xcode 4 with most examles will be definitely available.
All in all it looks like the old version. Sorry for the delay, but there have been some unforeseen "problems".

Requirements will be Intel 64 bit Mac and Lion and Xcode 4.2.

Bernd,

will the new version support protocols as in Objective C? If not now, is it planned as a feature?

To have it exactly like in Objective-C, it will take some time. Maybe in the mid of 2012, but I won't promisse. There are still other open tasks more important, e.g. the code syntax highlighter needs the new version from my other basic project, which is really 100 % correct and auto-generated from the compiler.

Nevertheless, the aim of Objective-Basic is to support as many Objective-C featuers as possible, without the need of have native Objective-C code.

I will publish a preview version of the new Objective-Basic for Xcode 4 the next few days...
