New Version Progress?

Postby ibobx » Fri Nov 18, 2011 11:41 pm

Hi!
Just wanted to ask if there will be a new version? I read somewhere that you where cooking a new version, it is still going?
I am really waiting to buy Objective Basic, but hoping it for 32 and 64 bit, and with iPad/iPhone support! :)
Thanks!
Roberto.

Xcode 4 support is nearly completed, but I still have to work on the compiler. Anyway, the new version means a lot of improvements. And I am going to hire a Cocoa expert to support me at the begining of 2012, as I feel the need to speed up objb's development.

iOS 5 support will follow 2012. Have now my own test device...

Great! I am holding on this, learning MacRuby in the meantime, but I love BASIC!!!!!!!!!!!
For now, it would be great to have latest XCode compatibility and also 32 and 64 bits support :)
Thanks a bunch!
Roberto.

Can you provide a target date for when the Xcode 4 supported version will be made available? At least some idea whether it is expected to be either weeks or months. I am very interested in purchasing a license, but I don't want to go back and install Xcode 3.

Regards,
Mike

The next weeks... the Xcode 4 support will come. My target date is the end of 2011.
